To clear out my wife's collection, I will be listing a large number of Vivienne Westwood items. My wife has been collecting Vivienne since she was in junior high school, so all items were purchased only at Vivienne Westwood directly managed stores.
This is a semi-vintage item, likely purchased in the early 2000s.
Due to the resurgence of NANA and the Y2K revival boom, Vivienne Westwood's jacquard knit T-shirts have recently become very expensive.
This jacquard knit T-shirt features an all-over hand-drawn design on the cotton body, with knit fabric used for the sleeve transitions, showcasing Vivienne's unique design sense.
Made in Italy, this item likely could only have been produced at that time, and would never be released under modern cost structures. It is a truly unique item that went through a very labor-intensive manufacturing process.
On the lower left of the body, a tag is sewn with the words:
"TOO FAST TO LIVE TOO YOUNG TO DIE"
This is a quote by Malcolm, said to be an homage to James Dean.
※ This name was also used for the shop that Vivienne and Malcolm opened on King's Road, and the name changed in the order of LET IT ROCK ⇒ TOO FAST～ ⇒ SEX ⇒ Seditionaries ⇒ Worlds end ⇒ Vivienne Westwood.
