This illustrated modern tale, both written and illustrated by myself, was conceived as a personal growth tool exploring a collective inner scenario through the voices that influence our vitality and well-being. The protagonist embarks on a journey through 26 stages, including the beginning and the return. Along the way, she encounters animal figures ready to whisper significant phrases. These figures are universal archetypal guides, each with different intentions and characteristics, waiting to be awakened and integrated for a full and conscious life. The illustrations, created using various digital techniques, enhance the narrative by serving as a powerful tool to reveal the unconscious. The accompanying text is an evolution of a previous holistic research project on archetypes. Both the names and the number of the archetypes are inspired by Carol Pearson’s Awakening the Hero Within, which is rooted in Jungian psychology.
