This is a ceremonial kinpai cup 金盃, crafted in gold-plated metal, 24K gold plating process (純金鍍金 junkan tokin). It features the zodiac animal with the year of dog, It is presented in a wooden box lined with dark blue fabric, indicating that it is a commemorative item. The word 金盃 (kinpai) literally means “golden sake cup”.
