Fully hall marked and dated 1906, this sterling silver watch chain fob is enhanced by a shield-shaped gold cartouche. The quality of the gold is undetermined but appears to be 18ct? The face of the gold cartouche bears a two letter monogram, while the reverse features the date June 2nd 1920 (poss commemorating the upholding of The Volstead Act by the U.S Supreme Court). This charming reminder of an age gone by was made by Herbert Bushell of Birmingham. As expected of an item of this age there are slight scratches to the surface.
