Made by the celebrated Crowther boutique in Manchester in the '60s, this purple velvet maxi coat with satin trim is a vintage clothing dream. It is a very small size 12 (17ins pit to pit, length 53ins) - I would say size 10 by today's standards. Two rows of satin-covered buttons down front, slightly puffed sleeves with satin cuffs. The lining is discoloured under armpits and has 2 inch hole in the centre seam (easily repired). It has been in storage for many years, so could do with a dry clean to freshen.
