This is a rare bolt of Japanese-made Kurume Kasuri fabric.
Originally, this fabric was used to make domestically produced Monpe (work pants) for women for many years.
It was purchased directly from the manufacturer, and even at the time, it was quite expensive to procure.
This item is unused, so there are no creases, wrinkles, or pinholes.
Because it is a properly woven Kasuri fabric, the pattern appears clearly on the back as well.
(Unlike inexpensive printed fabrics)
It is stored at the manufacturing factory,
so there may be a slight odor.
