1. The footed ruby glass handled basket a depression piece by New Martinsville Glass Company. I have listed a piece selling on ebay.
●The New Martinsville Glass Company was an American manufacturer of decorative glass products. It opened in 1901 in New Martinsville, West Virginia. The company was renowned for the use of color in their glassware. They initially made tableware but quickly expanded into vanities, bar ware, lamps, and more.[1] They promoted liquor sets even through prohibition. The company was re named Viking Glass in 1944 and closed in 1984
2. The blown glass vase shaped like a hibiscus flower has an open center and hollow stem. It is heavy glass.
I always displayed the two together, but they are probably best seperate. I never figured where to use the vase.,.possibly a hanging plant and defiantly for cut flowers. Great for those with gardens
