Classic 1940s Leroy Swiss-made wristwatch, with high-quality 17-jewel manual-wind movement.
Timepiece is being sold as-is for parts or restoration. Not currently in running condition. Excellent candidate for project, with movement signed by S. Kocher & Co. (manufacturer of Eska and Royce).
Key Features:
Case Material: Gold Filled (Marked "METALP"). Unlike standard plating, gold filling offers a much thicker, durable layer of gold bonded to the base metal.
Movement: 17 Jewels, Manual Wind (Swiss Made by S. Kocher & Co.).
Design: Authentic Art Deco aesthetic with a textured dial and period-correct numerals.
Case Back: Manufactured by Sutton; marked "Base Metal - Stainless Back."
Condition Notes: The watch does not run. The dial shows a vintage patina. The gold-filled case shows some wear/brassing on the edges and lugs consistent with age, but has a strong gold luster.
