Antique Appleton Toy and Furniture Company Child's Chair with original red paint. This antique child's Bentwood Chair was manufactured between 1900 and 1949 by the Appleton Toy & Furniture Company in Wisconsin. The chair is approximately 17 and 1/2 inches tall, and the seat is approximately 9 inches by 9 inches with the light yellow feature stripe that borders the seat. All the spindles and legs are secure with no signs of splitting or cracks. The chair is very sturdy. Naturally the paint is commensurate with its age. The chair remains very sturdy.
The last photos was what I located with my research on this item.
The chair was passed onto us from my wife’s grandmother. Definitely a collector’s item for some lucky home. We used it to set dolls on. If interested in dolls, please scroll through my site.
