Vintage P&H Harnischfeger Corporation metal nameplate badge pin. P&H stands for company founders Alonzo Pawling and Henry Harnischteger, who started a machine and pattern shop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1884. The company became a well-known supplier of heavy machinery and parts, particularly in the mining industry, and was an early innovator in electric cranes. Known today as Komatsu.
The back reads "If found reward of 1.00 for return to Harnischfeger Corporation Milwaukee 46, Wisconsin."
A great piece of history from a bygone era.
