Purchased new at Nakata Shoten approximately 35-40 years ago.
I wore it at the time, but it became too small after a few years (I gained weight and the zipper wouldn't go up, lol). After that, I didn't want to get rid of it, so I maintained it with mink oil, and the leather quality is in good condition despite the years.
I'm listing it this time because I don't expect to lose weight even if I keep it any longer.
Currently, new ones are sold for around 160,000 yen, but it takes more than 5 years to break in the stiff leather. I think there's enjoyment in dyeing a jacket that has been broken in to some extent at a lower price than a new one and making it your own.
