Offered for sale is a vintage Cambridge Glass Company butter dish featuring its original silver-plated domed lid and original Cambridge paper label still present on the glass.
The clear pressed glass base has a classic scalloped rim and displays beautifully. The lid is silver plated and shows light surface tarnish and wear consistent with age; it has not been aggressively polished to preserve the plating.
Cambridge glass pieces retaining their original labels are increasingly hard to find, especially utilitarian tableware such as butter dishes.
