Handmade studio art pottery bowl by Nancy Sizemore, produced in Moreland, Georgia. This piece features a dramatic drip glaze in deep black, blue, green and copper tones with flowing lava-like texture over high-fire stoneware clay. The base is impressed “MORELAND” and hand-signed by the artist.
These bowls were made in small studio firings in Central Georgia during the late 20th century, making each example unique. The glaze has heavy movement and pooling that creates a rich, almost volcanic surface.
Perfect as a display piece, catch-all, jewelry bowl, or small serving bowl.
Condition is very good with no chips or cracks. Normal handmade glaze variations from the firing process.
