Antique Hand Painted Blue Flower Porcelain Convertible Brooch & Scarf Clip

This is a Vintage 2-in-1 Convertible Brooch and Scarf Clip in very good condition. I can date the piece back to the 1950s-1960s. It belonged to a past family member. The piece features a high-quality, full brass body construction with an antiqued finish and lovely patina. The centerpiece is a hand-painted porcelain plaque representing a stunning "Atomic Starburst" or "Sunburst" shape with blue-finished petal accents. The outside porcelain is finished with a gold gilt border. The porcelain is held by six brass prongs. It is free of chips, cracks, or crazing. The piece features both a traditional rollover safety pin and a hinged scarf clip, allowing it to be worn on a lapel or used to secure a silk scarf. The safety pin is slightly bent. Both mechanisms work perfectly. The piece measures 2-1/8 by 1-5/8 inches. Please review my pictures carefully as they are part of the description. The piece comes from a smoke free home.
