Authentic vintage varsity / letterman cardigan sweater dating to the 1940s–1950s, made by C&S Sporting Goods Co. This classic mid-century athletic sweater features a bold chenille letter "B" patch, button-front closure, and traditional patch pockets.
The original C&S Sporting Goods Trade Mark tag lists Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio, Texas, a strong indicator of true early Texas-made sporting apparel. These sweaters were commonly worn by high school or college athletes and are highly collectible today.
