Mid-century Bobley brooch featuring a large turquoise glass cabochon set in a scalloped silver tone frame. The oval cabochon shows turquoise-style veining typical of mid-century Southwestern revival jewelry. Maker’s bee hallmark and patent clasp on back. The clasp carries U.S. Patent 2066969, issued in 1937 and commonly used through the 1950s to early 1960s, helping date the brooch to this period.
Bold statement piece that wears well on jackets, coats, scarves or hats.
