Vintage faux pearl bib necklace signed Japan, featuring aluminum eloxal findings and hand-knotted woven beadwork in a dramatic waterfall silhouette. This statement piece is constructed with individually knotted pearls arranged in graduated rows that widen into a sculptural center drop. A single larger pearl accents the center, adding a classic focal point.
The necklace measures approximately 16 7/8" long with a 2 3/4" extender. The center bib measures about 3" long. It has a hook clasp. Despite its dramatic size, the necklace remains lightweight due to its aluminum eloxal findings and knotted bead construction.
Circa 1950-1960s.
