Vintage 70s Scandinavian hand blown glass fish figurine made by FM Konstglas (which later became Marcolin Art Crystal) of Ronneby, Sweden. Benito and his brother Josef founded FM Konstglas in 1961 and this was designed by Benito Marcolin, pattern number B850.The feathered bubble effect in the fish is described as "fumato", which means "smoked", a technique which involves exposing the glass to smoke from a fire, to give the glass a smoky colour by picking up particles of unburnt ember and ash from the smoke. Fish is signed on the bottom "FM Ronneby B850" and something else after B850 that I cannot decipher. Measures 6"L x 4"H x 1 1/2"W.
