These are a pair of clear glass dolphin or koi fish candlesticks by Imperial Glass for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The design is a reproduction of original 1800s candlesticks made by companies like Boston & Sandwich Glass. The candlesticks feature a figural dolphin (sometimes called a "sea serpent" or "koi fish") standing on its tail, which is mounted on a multi-tiered, square base. The figure's body has a textured, scaled appearance.
The base is a square, multi-tiered design.
The candlesticks measure 10" tall. The largest square tiered base is 4" square.
The Imperial Glass trademark is on the inside of the base. These were made somewhere between the 1950's-1970's.
One candlestick is damaged on the inside of the base on 1 side. I show this in several photos.
I am selling these as a No-return item. They are in as is condition. Please look at all my photos. They are part of my description
