The WMF "Moonman" (or "Mondmannchen") silver baby cutlery is a rare, collectible set from Germany. It is silver-plated and features astronaut/moon figures on the handles, released around the 1969 moon landing to help toddlers learn to eat. This set includes a fork and spoon and is stamped with "90 1.5": "90" indicates a standard thickness of 90 grams of silver per two dozen standard pieces, and "1.5" (or 1/50) signifies a thicker plating, often for larger or heavily used items, denoting higher quality silver-plating.
