Acid tested 14k gold plated.
Beautiful Victorian art nouveau style cameo pendant with a carved shell featuring a gorgeous woman with flowing locks. It is well mounted on gold colored metal. Gilded or plated? Very nice substantial piece. Some cameo ladies look not so nice, especially later ones that were quickly carved and mass produced- this woman was carefully hand carved and the details show.
There is a little chip on the nose if you look closely. I have a small gold filled bail I can add if you want one.
