This is a beautiful southwestern, either Mexican or Native American, disk pendant inlaid in purple and orange spiny oyster shell, lapis lazuli, Malachite, turquoise and mother of Pearl. this pendant is stamped 950 Sterling on the back.
Unfortunately, I don’t know what the symbol represents, but to me with the light of the mother of pearl coming through the turquoise it makes me think of the sun’s rays coming through the blue sky.
The reverse of the pendant is beautiful as well as it has five round cabochon moonstones set into it.
I’ve sold several other jewelry items with the same color scheme and in laid stone look to them. I still have a ring available that would look great with this shown in the last photo, for sale separately on my site.
