Adidas D Lillard 1 "Yellow Tape" edition, a custom fan-designed colorway worn by Damian Lillard in March 2015 against the Golden State Warriors. The "Yellow Tape" motif pays tribute to a motivational tactic used by Lillard's personal trainer, Chris Farr, during pre-draft workouts. Farr would use actual yellow tape to "rope off" the court after a session to signify that Lillard had put in so much work that no one else was allowed on it. Features a low-cut design with a Techfit inner bootie for a snug, secure fit and full-length Adiprene+ cushioning for responsiveness. The design features a black and red base with distinct yellow accents (the "tape") and speckling on the midsole. Includes the "OAK PDX" text on the tongue, representing his hometown of Oakland and his professional home in Portland. The left heel typically features his personal "DL" logo.
