“33rd thousand” printing group hardcover copy of this Treasure-House Classics edition of Stories of King Arthur by A. L. Haydon (Funk & Wagnalls, print date not stated). With illustrations by Arthur Rackham (four color plates and others in b&w). The first edition that this was derived from was first published in 1910, assumed printed early in the 20th century, but after 1910. There is a code on the last page reading, “40.616” which might mean a print date of June 16, 1940 but I can find no information to corroborate this. Additionally the price (25¢) and materials/quality of the book would lead me to believe it might be closer to 1910 than 1940.
Moderate wear to covers, especially around the edges. Corners bumped and torn. Paper cover on spine missing. A few instances of split binding though hinges are secure. Some torn pages with tanning. See photos for condition. Packaged with care and shipped via USPS Media Mail
