DESCRIPTION:
This is a rare underground shop tape from the early 2000s. The artist would bring their tapes to the local shops in Memphis to sell and the shop would take the master copy and make tons of copies for distribution. Most of those shop tapes are like this with the type writer style font on the label and a ton of the tapes were white. They're very collectible and an integral part of the scene since most of the tapes are shop tapes with very few master copies. There were various generations of these shop tapes, some were white, others were clear, but one thing they all had in common was that type writer font style on the label. These shop tapes were the most prominent kind among the memphis UG tape scene and basically the only way to acquire and listen to this music, because it was local only.
