Compared to indigo dye, it's difficult to leave the core of the thread white with black denim, and the fading has been somewhat blurry. This time, with the newly developed dyeing technology, commonly known as "Ghost Black," we have succeeded in dyeing while firmly retaining the white core, resulting in a special black WWII model that allows you to enjoy intense color fading with light and shade, befitting RESOLUTE's first black denim.

Mr. Yoshiyuki Hayashi, a rare denim designer who has pursued the ideal denim for over 20 years and has led craftsmen with unwavering dedication, created the brand "RESOLUTE" with Japan's leading craftsmen.

They are particular about the original fabric from the Bingo region of the Chugoku area, and are created without compromise, from the old-fashioned dyeing methods to the sewing of each thread on the looms. RESOLUTE means "resolute," "firm in will," and "determined."

This is the so-called "WWII model," which was forced to simplify various specifications due to material controls in the United States during World War II.
Born from the production background during the war, there are many diverse types with no uniformity.
RESOLUTE follows the unique details of vintage WWII models, such as the donut-shaped top button engraved with laurel leaves, a coin pocket without rivets, and thick belt loops.
The silhouette is designed to raise the waist position and wrap the hips.

This model has the deepest rise and the largest waist size among RESOLUTE models, making it recommended for those who found the waist fitting tight in other RESOLUTE models.

The top button, which is a symbol of the WWII model, uses a donut-shaped laurel leaf button.
The simplification is a unique detail of the WWII model, with no rivets on the coin pocket, and hidden rivets and bar tacks on the back pocket.
The wide belt loops are also a detail particular to this era.
The hem is chain-stitched, allowing you to enjoy the puckering later, and the selvedge is orange, the brand's corporate color.
