This Fisher Price Little People Nativity is from 2011. The detail and design that went into this year's nativity was unlike any before or after. The most unique feature is the light in the base, where the manger holding Baby Jesus is placed! It lights up and plays music when Jesus is put on it. The baby Jesus manger piece is designed with a translucent base (see pictures) so that the light can shine through the piece!
Stickers, light, and sounds are lovely on this set! Even the details on the plastic like birds nests on the thatched roof, or a mouse, or hay on the barn floor make this a beautiful set!
Open the orange stable door to hear animal sounds, slide the star back and forth to spin the angel on the roof, & press the manger to hear tunes and see Jesus's manger light up! Requires 3 AA-not included. Plays recognizable tunes like Away in a Manger, & Silent night.
