Traveling Man Treasures is selling this traditional ritual/guardian totem pole originating from Borneo, specifically associated with the indigenous Dayak peoples. This piece is in fine condition for its age as shown.

The piece is hand-carved from a single piece of dense, durable ironwood (known locally as Kayu Ulin or Belian), a very hard wood that resists decay and insects. Borneo/Dayak carvings often serve specific personal, ritual, and/or ceremonial functions. Totem carvings like this one can represent ancestor figures or guardian spirits (tiang kramen), placed to protect longhouses or fields, or used in shamanic rituals to ward off black magic.
