1949 Hand-Embroidered Japanese Silk Pajama Set Occupied Japan Crane Motif
Originally acquired by my Father in 1949 while stationed in Japan after World War II. As this pajama set was hand-made, it has no fabric tags. It is likely made of silk, rayon or satin, typical of vintage Japanese Pajama Sets. This set has been well-preserved over the decades. There is minor wear and discoloration on the lighter fabric consistent with age, but the embroidery remains vibrant and intact.
