Excellent vintage condition
This vintage lidded sugar dish produced by Hollywood Imports of Japan most likely during the 1960s. This piece is very ornate and gorgeous with an embossed floral design. On the side is a handle. The lid has a slot in it allowing for a spoon to rest in the dish. Lifting of the lid reveals a removable glass bell shaped dish. There are no chips or cracks present on the glass. I lightly rubbed the piece with a polishing cloth, but light tarnish remains. Additionally noted is verdigris around the base's rim. The bottom bears the original label. The entire piece measures 3.5 inches in diameter x 4.4 inches tall. Such a lovely piece for your formal dining tablescape.
