This scarce title is a children's history of New England by Marshall McClintock (1906-1967), illustrated with full-color Lithographs by the incomparable Cornelius H. De Witt (1905-1995), one of the finest book illustrators of the 20th Century. This is a 1941 1st Edition hardback with tight binding and clean unmarked pages. The boards have corner bumping and there is some light wear on the edges but the overall condition is good. A nice collectible book that anybody who loves fine illustrations will appreciate!
