You will receive 10 fresh seeds from the magnificent Satakentia Liukiuensis palm.
Extremely rare, very beautiful palm. Coconut style fronds with a thick trunk and a brownish-purple crownshaft. Ideal for sub-tropical areas, but will tolerate some cold.
Seeds are picked only when fully ripe, float/sink tested and are shipped within days of picking -- extremely fresh. Quantities are limited.
Pulp is removed, then seeds are packed with sterilized moist sphagnum moss inside baggies for shipping.
Follow the below instructions carefully for best germination.
Note that germination takes time - about 6 months. During that time, DO NOT allow the seeds to dry out.
Germination recommendations: Soak briefly in fungicide, then place a few seeds (3-5) in a quart sized ziplock together with damp sphagnum moss (not wet - squeeze out excess water). Place in an area that is about 85 degrees. Do not place in direct sunlight (light is not needed for germination). Check periodically for roots. On
