Vintage wooden jewelry box made in Japan with a stitched pastoral needlepoint lid depicting women gleaning in a field. Features a yellow velvet interior with a removable top tray for rings and small items, revealing additional open compartments below. Includes a mirror inside the lid. Moderate wear throughout with surface scratches, tarnish on hardware, and a chipped corner on the lid (see photos). Hinges are intact and functional, but both sides are cracked near the hinge. Still usable as is, but be aware. Mirror shows some fogginess
