Don't wear this in a game, unless the game is using a nerf ball (and not a soaked nerf ball) it is a souvenier helmet meant to be displayed on the shelf or your head but not if playing. THIS IS NOT a PROTECTIVE HELMET and not meant to be used for protection for game play or any other reason. Souvenier helmet that can be worn around town or if you're going on a first date and want to impress or displayed on shelf.... but not in a game.
Interestingly, this '60's Blue Jays helmet is a bit thicker (definitely the band as well) than my '90's Red Sox souvenier helmet.
