Vtg Japan Nippon Beautiful Relish Dish "Windmill on the Lake"

This is a gorgeous antique relish dish featuring a scenic design with a windmill and trees, often referred to as the "Windmill on the Lake" or "Tree in the Meadow" pattern. It is made in Japan, marked "Hand Painted Nippon," indicating it was produced between 1891 and 1921, before the U.S. government mandated "Made in Japan" be used. While marked Nippon, these pieces are often attributed to Noritake, which produced similar blanks for various lines. It features a hand-painted landscape with a windmill, trees, and water. It's in remarkable pristine condition for its age, with no chips or cracks. It's approximately 10 1/2 inches long (handle to handle), the serving space approximately 8 1/2 inches long and approximately 5 inches wide.
