This is a vintage 1964 Hills Bros. decorative coffee can. Several coffee companies during the mid 19th century sold coffee in decorative tins that could be reused as canisters or other storage. This can has a Christmas holiday theme, red with gold snowflakes. They were often used to store or gift holiday cookies. Usually available in several sizes, this one would have been the largest 3 pound size. It stands 7" tall x 6" diameter. In very good condition, with no rust on inside. There is a tiny spot of glue residue on outer can, perhaps from original paper label. Plastic lid is from a Folger's coffee can.
