These have been in my home since I was married in 1985. They are in the original box with the lifetime warranty insert.
They are described as a 2 piece set of open stock valued at $35.50, and that was back in the mid-80s. Since they are vintage and unused, they are more valuable.
They were manufactured in Japan, but the National headquarters for Maxam was in Dallas, Texas.
There is a French Chec Knofe and a carving knife
I do not use large knives, so they have been kept untouched for 40 years.
