Vintage Panasonic 1960s MCM AM/FM Solid Walnut and Stainless Steel Clock Radio

This wonderful eye-catching Vintage 1960s Panasonic Clock Radio is perfect in every way EXCEPT I can not for the life of me figure out why the radio will not turn off! I can turn the sound all the way down, but cannot turn the radio off. Maybe you are electronically inclined and can figure it out; I am not. Either way, let me tell you a little about it.

The cabinet is real walnut wood. And the clock face is stainless steel protected by a clear plastic lens, which also covers the tuning indicator dials. The tuning indicator dials both rotate simultaneously when you turn the tuning knob which is really cool. The radio picks up plenty of stations nice and clearly…and loudly. There is a “Doze” button which functions as a “Snooze” and a light button which, when pressed, glows a faint orange onto the clock face.

This has lots of eye appeal and almost looks like a stereo receiver. It would look great in your MCM living room, bedroom, or anywhere you like to listen to the radio.
