This book is definitely from a different time. I wouldn’t necessarily read it to kids today. It’s a humorous book about a boy who was fooling around with a gun and it accidentally went off. The story shows all the chaos the pesky bullet caused. There’s one page that shows “Mammy” in a kitchen where the bullet struck a watermelon. Book has some wear as shown.
