Elegant vintage brooch featuring a Maltese cross shape with ornate openwork filigree and vibrant red and pink rhinestones. The cast metal design has pointed, lace-like edges that give the piece an intricate medieval revival feel, complemented by a layered starburst of navette and round stones at the center. The stones are glass rhinestones in rich red and ruby pink tones that stand out beautifully against the openwork background. The setting is gold tone metal and the brooch closes securely with a rollover clasp. It is unsigned.
