A sheer delight from my storage boxes ... a charming vintage Pacific Northwest–inspired Totem Pole salt & pepper shaker set features hand-painted redware porcelain, produced in late-1950s Japan for Victoria Ceramics.
Each shaker depicts a stylized totem face in the tradition of Northwest First Nations carving, featuring a man and a beaver motif—both rendered in rich, vibrant hand-painted color.
