The Last Supper After DaVinci Antique Wood Framed Hand Colored Engraving 18"X10"
I believe this is an engraving that was hand colored with watercolors after the printing. It's in muted colors & remains partially black & white.
I suspect it is from near the turn of the 20th Century.
There is a tiny partially visible embossed stamp in the bottom left corner that appears say Madison Prints along with other info I cannot decipher.
It's called "After Da Vinci" because it is a print of a reproduction of Da Vinci's famous work, The Last Supper. I believe by Raphael Morghen in the 1800's.
It's in an antique art deco solid wood frame. It hangs from several loops of wire through eye screws & is under clear glass.
Pre-owned, there is some light waving of the paper. The frame shows wear to the finish overall but the construction feels solid.
It measures approx. 18"X10"X0.75"
