Overview: Up for sale is this fantastic and rare woodblock print by Gihachiro Okuyama (1907-1981). Okuyama was a prolific print artist from Sagae, Yamagata. His major background was from print advertising, but starting in the 1950's, he shifted toward producing original prints. This print is entitled, "Heian Shrine" and depicts the famous Heian Shrine in Kyoto. It is matted and nicely framed in a dark wood frame. Okuyama's seal is at lower rightof the print.
Condition: Print and frame are in excellent condition.
Measurements: Print measures approximately 9.5 inches wide x 4.875 inches high. Frame measures approximately 11.375 inches wide x 8.375 inches high.
