Lot of 81 vintage style jeweled costume brooches insects, including many varieties of beetles, butterflies, spiders, dragonflies, ants, bees...
I have had these displayed for years in shadow boxes to resemble an insect display. The largest lot of 65, which are all brooches, shown are all functional brooches. The largest white spider has two jewels missing, which I have pointed out using the ruler. If you look at the photo with the 3 red beetles, you'll see 2 beetles are faded. All the pinning mechanisms work fine - the pin may be bent a little on some, but that is common for a brooch.
The smaller grouping is a mixture of 16 brooches and/or pins with each having some sort of damage on the back. It ranges from missing the pin to glue residue or maybe something else like the pin back missing.
These would be beautiful to adorn your clothing or would make a great work of art/arts and crafts like I used them for.
