Antique Late Ming Chinese Phoenix Motif & "Chang" Mark Porcelain Plate 6''

Item Overview
This is an authentic blue and white porcelain plate from the Late Ming Dynasty Tianqi/Chongzhen period (early 17th century), produced by folk kilns in Jingdezhen. It features the iconic phoenix motif—a symbol of prosperity in Chinese culture—and bears the "Chang" character mark, a common folk kiln mark of the late Ming era, representing the typical style of civilian blue and white wares during this transitional period of Ming porcelain production.

Condition
The plate is in original antique condition with minor age-related flaws:

• Slight glaze loss on the rim and minor cobalt blurring in localized areas (see close-up photos for details).

• Tiny natural glaze shrinkage spots on the surface, inherent to late Ming folk kiln production.

• No major cracks, hairlines, or restorations

the wooden base is not included. For display purpose only.
