This is a replica set of the Type 18 bulletproof vest and Type 18 soft armor vest, which have begun to be procured by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
While being official issue, it is smaller, lighter, and easier to move in compared to the Type 3 bulletproof vest.

If you are inserting plates, the front plate is SAPI/ESAPI standard, size M, and the back is M/L size.
