We are so excited to present to you this gorgeous opera length Chinese export necklace is most likely from the 1940s. The beautiful clasp is stamped silver. I am uncertain if it’s 800, 900, or sterling silver (fine). There are 50 yummy 12 mm pink peony, country rose hand painted beads and are spaced with what looks like green jade spacers on this gorgeous 33” necklace. These necklaces were a common gift brought back from those who were in WWII. Please check condition and further details in the photos provided. The string end is exposed near the clasp and discoloration to at least one bead. These may need to be restrung? I’m uncertain. This will come in the box shown. I am unsure if it is the original box.
This would also display beautifully in a chinoiserie styled home when you’re not wearing it!
