M.I.D.A. (Mida) is a casual wear brand for adults that combines the traditional sensibilities of Florence, Italy, with the meticulous direction of Japan. Established in Florence, Italy in 2011.

The concept is military holic and Tuscan relax. While based on universal military wear and workwear, it is incorporated into a sophisticated and refined silhouette that is distinctly Italian. Mr. Yoshiyuki Hayashi became the director from the 2018 spring/summer season.

The highlight is the use of traditional Japanese indigo jacquard weave. Instead of a print, the complex patterns expressed by the three-dimensional weave change the shade of navy depending on how the light hits it.

Using indigo material, which Mr. Hayashi excels at, the "corners" soften with wear, and the color fades (ataris) that fit the body are created the more you wear it.

The large pockets around the waist are details from hunting and workwear. On the other hand, the welt pocket on the chest and the overall curves have the elegance of a tailored jacket.

The use of 100% linen (flax) for the lining, in contrast to the heavy cotton jacquard of the outer fabric, is very stylish. The refreshing chambray that is visible when you take it off stands out.

The dedicated label for the archive collection represents that this is a special piece that inherits the brand's history and past design heritage.

The 70cm length of the front panel smartly hides the stomach area and emphasizes the vertical lines to make you look good. Conversely, the back is shortened to 61cm and a center vent is added, so the fabric does not float up even when sitting, and you can always maintain a beautiful standing posture.

It is a piece that can be used all year round, as an accent inside a coat in winter, and as a light outerwear in spring and autumn.
