A vintage Rodi M J Hummel musical jewellery box with Reuge movement. The footed, highly polished, wooden jewellery box has a charming illustration (signed MJ Hummel) to the hinged lid, depicting two small children by a sign post. There is a red velvet lined compartment to the interior......when opened the tune played is "Edelweiss". The musical movement is made by Reuge. It measures approx 4.5" square & has a height of approx 2.5", including the feet & lid. Both the Rodi & M J Hummel stickers can be seen to the underside (see photos). In good used, clean & undamaged condition.
