Rare vintage Oxford plastic relief map. London (East)

This is part of a classic series of 3D raised-relief maps produced by Oxford University Press (OUP) and the Clarendon Press Cartographic Department in the 1960s. This one is in association of Barclays Bank Ltd and was produced in 1964. These vintage maps are physically molded from plastic to represent terrain elevation. They were produced as prototypes but they never took off, hence their rarity. These maps are now considered collectibles. The London (East) map covers a wide territory: Lewes, Eastbourne, Ramsgate, to south Cambridge, Ipswich, Colchester, Southend, East London, Croydon, Harlow. The map is best displayed in a frame. It is in excellent condition considering its age. 50 x 34.5 cm. Scale 1 inch to 6 miles. Please keep an eye on my selling items as I have more areas which will come for sale very soon.
